The 9th edition of FUSO – Annual International Video Art Festival of Lisbon embraces the city’s summer nights with a viewing area filled deckhairs prepared especially for showing striking video art performances. Programmed and curated through different processes, the varied selection of works ranges from the output of artists and curators to that of artistic programmers and art theoreticians.
This year, FUSO dedicates its edition to the theme Yesterday and Today, in line with the proposed Past and Present Program of Lisbon Ibero-American Capital of Culture. So the sessions will present proposals for outstanding curators from the South and Central America, as well as Portugal and Spain. The Brazilian artist Paulo Bruscky, pioneer of Concetual art in the 60’s will bw honored in this edition.
